🔼 Special Coach. Bulldog football’s special teams department just got a bit more special. Head coach Jeff Lebby announced that Cliff Odom would join on as State’s special teams coordinator. Odom and Lebby coached together for two years while at Central Florida in 2018 and 2019. Most recently, Odom helped New Mexico State reach back-to-back bowl games for the first time since 1959-60 as the team’s defensive backs coach.

🔼 Carter’s Charm. For the third time in her career, Jessika Carter was named the SEC’s Co-Player of the Week. In her last three outings, Carter has collected three straight double-doubles averaging 21.7 points, 14.7 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game.

This year, Carter is having one of her best seasons yet. Through her first 10 games this season, the Bulldog forward has career-best numbers in points, rebounds, blocks and shooting percentage.

🔼 Softball Sisters. Class of 2024 signee Kalani Sells is coming to Starkville to join her sister, Kiarra, next season to play for Bulldog softball. Last spring, Sells led her team at Jaspar High School in batting average, RBIs, home runs and stolen bases. She was named Jasper's defensive MVP.

🗣️ "I honestly fell in love with the school before the softball program. I absolutely love the family atmosphere that lingers throughout the campus. I knew from the first camp that I attended that this was the place I wanted to call home. I love how the softball program is run from workouts to games to academics. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!" - Kalani Sells
