📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Holiday Cheers. The Bulldogs had one of the most dominant first halves in recent history, shooting an incredible 78.3 percent from the floor and 60 percent from 3-point range, as State pulled out an 85-81 win.

Shakeel Moore led all scorers with 16 points on the night while freshman Josh Hubbard continued his hot streak with 15 points. With the clock winding down and the Dawgs trailing by one, Cameron Matthews, who finished with 13 points, slammed home a go-ahead alley-oop to give State the lead for good.

🔼 Making Lemonade. Bulldog men’s basketball star guard, Tolu Smith, has been sitting out with an injury, but that hasn’t stopped him from making an impact around the team off the court.

🗣️ "It's good to have those experiences. I know how to attack this. I know I need to be mentally strong as much as physically strong. I know my team still needs me to be a leader and use me and I need to be able to be vocal and have a voice on the court." - Tolu Smith

📚️ Read more about how Smith’s parents and Coach Jans are seeing him make the most of a tough situation while Smith’s eyes remain on his team and his comeback

🔼 A Legend’s Return. Bulldog women’s basketball great, Morgan William, returned to the place where she helped Mississippi State make history. The former four-year point guard led the Bulldogs to two back-to-back national championship appearances in 2017 and 2018. Monday though, she was looking at that floor very differently from her courtside seat as a fan.

🗣️ "It's always nice to come back to family, where I basically grew up as a young lady. I'm eternally grateful for Mississippi State." - Morgan William

🔼 New Partner, New Merch. New gear for all Mississippi State athletics just dropped! Dyehard by Follett, the preeminent fan retail experience in collegiate athletics, has launched a multi-year partnership with Mississippi State Athletics as the new official e-commerce provider. The relationship was negotiated through Learfield's MSU Bulldog Sports Properties, which oversees athletic multimedia and e-commerce rights.
