🎥 BULLDOG BREAKDOWN

Bulldog Breakdown: Northwestern. Step into the exclusive session with Coach Richard Williams, as he delves deep into the exhilarating 66-57 victory against Northwestern. Gain insider insights, tactical analysis, and a front-row seat to the thrilling moments that defined that game.

🎥 BULLDOG BASKETBALL

Dive back into each of the Bulldog basketball team’s seasons as they embark on the bulk of their schedules heading into the new year with docuseries following both of Coach Purcell’s and Coach Jans' teams.

One: New Girl In Town (S.1 E.7). In the seventh episode of "One", the team welcomes the talented Rocio Jimenez, a center hailing from the Dominican Republic, who joins the squad earlier than anticipated due to her reclassification.

Get to know her, her story, and her life on and off the court. The episode culminates in a thrilling Christmas game at "The Hump" where the team secures a resounding victory over Jackson State, sparking festive cheer and celebration among teammates and fans alike.

Beyond The Arc: Home Sweet Home (S.1 E.4). Travel back to high school with D.J. Jeffries and Cameron Matthews as they reminisce on the state championship they won together before reuniting at Mississippi State.

🔼 Smith’s Return. The Bulldogs capped off 2023 with a win for the season’s total and a win for the team with All-SEC player, Tolu Smith, returning to the lineup. State came away victorious after an 85-62 rout of Bethune-Cookman in which Smith finished with a team-high 16 points and added nine rebounds in his first action of the season.

After some much-deserved rest, the Bulldogs will return to the court on Saturday for their first SEC road test of the season as they take on South Carolina at 11:00 a.m.

🔼 Tickets Please. ‘Tis the season to get some season tickets for your favorite Bulldog Athletics programs. Heading into 2024, secure season tickets to each State softball game to ensure you don’t miss a second of the action. After those are added, be sure to renew those tickets for the Lebby Era of State football for the 2024 season. It will be here before you know it!

🔼 Winning Ways. Bulldog women’s basketball ended 2023 with a huge 99-35 win over Mississippi Valley State where Darrione Rogers recorded her second career triple-double with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

🗣️ “The sacrifices that she has made to be willing to come off the bench and handle it with class. Watching her feel comfortable and come out and have a triple-double tonight speaks volumes to her character and who she is as a person." - Sam Purcell

The dominant performance by State showed on the stat sheet with Rogers’ triple-double and a double-double by three other Bulldogs. Freshman Quanirah Montague finished with her first career double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds while Erynn Barnum and Jessika Carter added their double-double contributions to the game. Next up, State will begin SEC play on Thursday at The Hump as they host Vanderbilt at 6:30 p.m.

🔼 Role Call. New year, new Dawgs! Head coach Jeff Lebby has collectively hired one of the top coaching staffs in all of college football. Ring in the new year by getting familiar with some of the new faces that will be on the sidelines for the Bulldogs in 2024.
