🔼 Final Horn. For the second time this season, Bulldog men’s basketball took down a top-25 ranked foe, defeating No. 21 Memphis on the road, 79-66. An early-first-half 13-0 run for the Bulldogs made a 5-all game 18-5 in favor of the Maroon and White just over seven minutes into the contest, and State led by double-digits the rest of the way. Individually, four Bulldogs scored in double figures, led by Riley Kugel's 19 points.

MSU will play 29 non-conference games throughout the season and is set to play 17 games against seven teams that finished the 2024 season ranked in the final NFCA Coaches' Poll. Four of those teams, accounting for 13 contests, finished inside the top 10.
