With that in mind, Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery catch up with the head coach of the Diamond Dawgs, Brian O'Connor, who gives a few of his observations from fall ball and begins looking ahead at spring.

🔼 Caged The Tigers! Mississippi State men’s hoops improved to 7-5 on Saturday, beating Memphis in a close one at the Hump, 71-66! Jayden Epps led the Dawgs in scoring with 19 points in just 27 minutes, with Josh Hubbard joining him in double figures with 17. The duo scored the final 14 points of the game for the Dawgs to clinch the win over the Tigers.

🔼 Great Eight. Mississippi State women’s basketball pushed its win streak to eight games on Saturday, beating La Salle in Philadelphia, 85-37! Jaylah Lampley led the Bulldogs in scoring for the first time in her career, as she scored a career-high 18 points. Lampley shot 8-12 from the floor, marking the ninth time she has shot above 50 percent in a game.
