🔼 Hungry For More. Bulldog women’s basketball will conclude nonconference play today in Princess Anne, Maryland when the team faces Maryland Eastern Shore at 11 a.m. Marking the first-ever matchup between MSU and UMES, the Dawgs enter on a three-game win streak while the Hawks come in having lost their last six contests. Jerkaila Jordan has been on fire as of late, posting 20-point performances in her last five games.
🔼 True Leaders. For the second year in a row, State's soccer staff has been recognized as the United Soccer Coaches Southeast Staff of the Year. Following a historic 2024 season, this award reinforces the Bulldogs' ascent as one of the nation's elite programs. The award caps a season filled with accolades for the Bulldogs who achieved their highest final rankings in program history.
🔼 Signee Spotlight. Today’s Bulldog softball signee spotlight highlights Gabby Schaeffer, a two-time state champion and the second player in program history from the state of New York, in November. As one of six student-athletes who signed with MSU on National Signing Day, Schaeffer won state titles in 2022 and 2023 and won three NYS Section 9 AA Championships and Regional Championships.
🗣️ "Gabby is a talented middle infielder with smooth hands and a versatile skillset, bringing her passion and work ethic from New York to the South.
