🔼 On A Roll. Bulldog women’s basketball finished 3-0 on Thanksgiving weekend as guard Jerkaila Jordan turned in 20 points to earn All-Tournament team honors and propel Mississippi State past South Florida, 59-52, in game two of the 2024 Cayman Classic. Russell Eniya filled the stat sheet with 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes, while sophomore Quanirah Montague posted six points and eight rebounds. With the win, Mississippi State tied a Purcell-best 8-0 start to the season.

🔼 Lot To Look Forward To. After taking down UNLV in the first game of the Arizona Tip-Off, the Bulldogs fell for the first time this season in the championship game, 87-77, to Butler. Unlike in games against Utah and SMU earlier this month, State couldn't complete the double-digit comeback and fell for the first time this year following a season-opening six-game winning streak.

🔼 Came To A Close. The Bulldogs put a lid on its 2024 football season on Friday after dropping a 26-14 decision to No. 14 Ole Miss in the annual Battle for the Golden Egg. Quarterback Michael Van Buren Jr. threw for 280 yards and accounted for two touchdowns, wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. racked up 118 yards receiving with a score and MSU went to the fourth quarter down just six points, but Ole Miss was able to hold on.

🔼 A Generous Gift. Before last week’s Thanksgiving festivities, Mississippi State Athletics received a $3 million gift from a family of long-time supporters of the Bulldogs' athletics programs, who wished to remain anonymous. Launched earlier this fall, the State Excellence Fund is dedicated to enhancing student-athlete resources and providing athletic benefits in a highly competitive environment.

🗣️ "This gift is another incredible step forward for Mississippi State Athletics and our student-athletes, and it is a powerful testament to our exciting future ahead." - Zac Selmon
