📈 STOCK UP
🔼 All Conference. Following the end of Mississippi State football’s 2025 campaign, the SEC announced its 2024 Coaches' All-SEC Teams, with three Bulldogs represented in Isaac Smith, Kevin Coleman Jr. and Davon Booth.
🏈 Smith earned Second Team All-SEC honors after a stellar campaign in which he ended the regular season as the SEC's leading tackler with 127 tackles and ranked fifth nationally in total tackles. Starting all 11 games he played in, Smith led the Bulldogs in tackles six times while earning double-digit tackles seven times.
🏈 Coleman earned Third Team All-SEC honors after having one of the best receiving seasons in program history. In his first season in Starkville, Coleman hauled in 74 receptions for 932 yards and six touchdowns. The junior wideout averaged 6.2 receptions per game, 12.6 yards per reception and 77.7 yards per game. He is also one of just six Bulldogs all-time with at least 65 receptions in a single season.
🏈 Booth earned Third Team All-SEC honors as an all-purpose player for his efforts as a rusher, receiver and kick returner. He led State in all-purpose yards with 1,231 yards, averaging 102.6 yards per game. On the year, he rushed for a team-high 759 yards, earning 164 yards through the air and 308 yards on kickoff returns. The senior’s 1,231 all-purpose yards ranked second in the SEC and 41st nationally.
🔼 Well-Deserved. For the first time in her career, Arissa Smith was recognized by the AVCA All-South Region Team as an honorable mention. The Bulldog volleyball standout took on a larger role this year and led State with a .391 hitting percentage on 176 kills. Her hitting percentage ranked seventh in the conference and among the top 30 in the nation.
🗣️ "She truly has developed into one of the best middle blockers in our conference and the region, so for her to earn this is well-deserved. I am excited to see what the future holds for Arissa.” - Julie Darty Dennis, head coach
🔼 Tour Status. After earning a top-10 finish in the final stage of the 2024 Q-Series, former Bulldog women’s golfer Julia Lopez Ramirez will officially receive status to join the LPGA. She will join the pro ranks following an 8-under-par final round.
