📈 STOCK UP

🔼 ACC Challengers. It will be Bulldog men’s basketball’s first true road test of the season as the team heads to Atlanta, GA, to take on Georgia Tech in the ACC/SEC Challenge this evening. The 6-0 Dawgs are one of the 24 remaining undefeated teams in the country, and keying in on a couple of parts of the game will help the Dawgs stay that way.

Josh Hubbard and Trey Fort have been hot from three, accounting for 54.2% of the team’s 48 total three’s this season—the third most through six games in program history. Defensively, the Dawgs have shut opponents down with a top 15 ranking in opponent field goal percentage, scoring defense and opponent three point field goal percentage.

🔼 Coming This Spring. This spring, Bulldog women’s golf is hitting the road with five different tournaments. The spring season will begin with the team out west in California for the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, and will end with the SEC Championship down in sunny Tampa, Florida.

🔼 Climbing The Ladder. After two successful weeks for both Bulldog basketball programs, each team achieved another ranking in the top 25, and once again both teams are the exact same rank—No. 21 in the country.

According to the AP Poll, the women’s team rose in the rankings thanks to their tournament win at the 2023 Van Chancellor Classic, and the men’s team climbed a few spots after a convincing win over Nicholls.

🔼 Golf’s Master. Bulldog men's golf’s very own Tanapat "Peng" Pichaikool earned his second career professional victory on Sunday, winning the 24th Singha Thailand Masters with a score of 23-under across four rounds. The former Bulldogs’ win allowed him to jump 334 spots in the Official World Golf Rankings.

🔼 Let the Lebby Era Begin! It was a night to remember for Bulldog fans as State football’s newest head coach was officially welcomed to Starkville. From speeches and bright lights, to fog machines and fireworks, the welcome party for head coach Jeff Lebby had it all.
