🔼 Tourney Time. Tonight, the Soccer Dawgs will take on No. 3 Brown in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. At the conclusion of the regular season, the Bulldogs sat just four spots behind Brown in the national rankings in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.

It’s been a team effort on offense all season long as four Bulldogs have scored three or more goals with Aitana Martinez-Montoya leading the pack at six on the season. As for the defense, goalkeeper Maddy Anderson has been a wall all season long—averaging 0.66 goals allowed per game and 67 saves. Coming off a thrilling 1-0 victory in the first round of the tournament, the Bulldogs will look to continue their momentum as they travel to Stanford, California.

🔼 Back To Battle. State football will take to the gridiron tomorrow morning as interim head coach Greg Knox’s looks to lead the team against Southern Miss. The Bulldogs are on a five-game win streak against the Golden Eagles dating back to 1989, and the most recent in 2019.

🔼 Big Dawgs. Entering the fall off an appearance at the NCAA Championships, Bulldog women’s golf has been ranked No. 25 in the nation in the Spikemark Team Rankings. Julia Lopez Ramirez has been regarded as one of the best in the nation for some time—but now she has a No. 2 individual ranking to back that claim up.

🔼 Reunited And It Feels So Good. After years and years of playing together, Bulldog softball’s Josey Marron and Jessie Blaine have reunited in Starkville. The two have played together since 14U travel softball, and following a reunion after Blaine transferred in to the program this season, the pitcher/catcher duo is ready to take the field together.
