Beyond the Arc: March Mentality (S.1 E.1). Beyond The Arc will follow the Bulldog men's basketball team throughout the 2023-24 season. After losing in the First Four of March Madness last year, these Bulldogs are hungry for more. 🔼 Lions And Dawgs And Hoops, Oh My! Playing in the third game of the opening week of the season, State men’s hoops will welcome North Alabama to Humphrey Coliseum for tonight’s game. Heading into the matchup, the Bulldogs are coming off its 14th consecutive home-opening win against UT Martin.

History shows this meeting as one-sided, with the Maroon and White leading the all-time series at 4-0. The average margin of victory for the Bulldogs in those four meetings is a (very) healthy 26 points.

🔼 New Direction. Mississippi State Director of Athletics Zac Selmon announced Monday that Zach Arnett has been relieved of his duties as head football coach effective immediately. Senior offensive analyst Greg Knox, who has 35 years of coaching experience including 28 years in the SEC, will serve as interim head coach for the remainder of the 2023 season while the university begins a national search for its new head coach.

🔼 Found Home. State men’s golf has completed its recruiting season for 2024 after making four new additions to the team. The new signees include Thomas Norris, Ethan Smith, Ben Kelling and Trip Duke.
