🔼 Semifinals Bound. Off the heels of reaching the highest ranking in program history, the Soccer Dawgs knocked off Alabama in the first round of the SEC Tournament to advance to the semifinals for the first time ever.

After 90 minutes of play, the score was tied at one apiece. After two overtime periods, the match was still tied at one apiece as the first round of the SEC Tournament headed to a penalty shootout. Aitana Martinez-Montoya struck first with a goal in PKs, and after slotting another home, the Bulldogs took the 2-0 victory in the penalty shootout.

Now, the Bulldogs will prepare to face Arkansas in a rematch of the regular season finale on Thursday.

🔼 Flyin’ Flynn. Bulldog alum Tiffany Flynn leapt onto the podium at the Pan American Games and earned herself a bronze medal. Her jump of 6.40m was enough to give her third place in the competition, and also secured her first major international medal of her career.

🗣️ "I'm extremely proud of Tiffany. She's a shining example of what hard work and dedication can bring to a person. On behalf of the entire Bulldog family, congratulations." - Chris Woods

Flynn was the first of three former Bulldogs to compete in the Pan American Games with Navasky Anderson racing in the 800m and Curtis Thompson throwing the javelin later this weekend for a chance at medaling.

🔼 Palm Tree Swinging. Through round one at the Kapolei Invitational, the Bulldogs sit in a tie for 14th in a crowded leaderboard with plenty of opportunity in the days ahead. Hunter Logan led all State golfers after a six-birdie, 5-under par day as he enters into round two in a tie for 11th place. Hunter Davis joined Logan in the under-par club with a 2-under par day.

🔼 Brand New. The days until State fans return to The Hump to see Bulldog basketball return to the court has reached single-digits. Before going, get a sneak peak of the newly-renovated arena with accents of Maroon and White all across the court, courtesy of Richard Adkerson’s lead gift on the project.
