🔼 Only The Beginning. State soccer's remarkable 14-game undefeated streak came to an end in the SEC Tournament Semifinals, as the No. 2 Bulldogs fell 3-0 to No. 14 South Carolina for their first loss since Aug. 25 at Wake Forest. State's record now stands at a very impressive 17-2-0, following an undefeated run through conference play and the program's first-ever SEC Regular Season Championship. The team will now shift focus to the NCAA Selection Show on Monday, Nov. 11 at 3 p.m.
🔼 Good Hands. Bulldog wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. has been added to the watch list for the 2024 Biletnikoff Award, joining teammate Kelly Akharaiyi on the watch list, which recognizes the nation’s most outstanding FBS receiver. Coleman Jr. has had a breakout junior campaign, leading all State receivers in all major receiving categories, including receptions (57), yards (688) and touchdowns (5). He also has three 100-yard games this season to lead the team.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER
Answer: Consecutive 20+ win seasons in the first two years!
Sam Purcell is the only head coach in program history and one of six in SEC women's basketball since 2000 to record consecutive seasons with 20 or more wins in each of their first two seasons. He has totaled the most overall wins (45), most SEC wins (17) and most NCAA Tournament wins (2) of any head coach through their first two seasons in program history.
