You can't win them all if you don't win the first one, and Mississippi State men's hoops did just that on Monday night with a 95-60 win over West Georgia. 🔼 Moving On. In a night that showcased resilience, skill, and the fighting spirit that has defined their record-setting season, No. 3 Mississippi State advanced to the SEC Tournament Semifinals with a thrilling 2-1 double-overtime victory against Tennessee. This win extends the Bulldogs' remarkable 2024 campaign, marking their 14th straight victory and 11th consecutive SEC win, both program records. Aitana Martinez-Montoya's golden goal was served up from an absolute beauty of a ball from Hannah Johnson, securing the Bulldogs' spot in the semifinals.

🔼 Honor Roll Call. After an impressive performance during MSU’s Homecoming matchup against UMass, Bulldog football's Davon Booth has been named to the Paul Hornung Award Week 10 Honor Roll. In the victory over the Minutemen, Booth finished with 76 rushing yards on 11 carries with one touchdown. He added 14 yards through the air and 71 yards on kickoff returns, closing the game with 161 all-purpose yards.

🔼 Human Highlight Reel. Bulldog men’s basketball guard Claudell Harris Jr. made an immediate impact in his Bulldog debut, scoring 20 points with three assists and two steals. Harris' athleticism and ability to spread the floor in the win were undeniable. Along with an excellent jumper, Harris has a knack for picking up steals and transitioning down the court to find his open teammates.
