🎙️ DEAR OL’ STATE

Dear Ol’ State: Chris Jans Shares Thoughts on Dawgs’ 3-0 Start. The MSU men's hoops squad is off to a 3-0 start as the Bulldogs get set to battle Utah on Sunday in Southaven. On the latest episode of Dear Ol' State, head coach Chris Jans joins Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery to discuss his thoughts on his group so far.

🔼 About That Time. Bulldog cross country is postseason-ready as the squad competes in the NCAA South Region Championships this morning. After concluding the regular season with a fourth-place finish at the Crimson Classic, the Bulldogs finished 11th in the SEC Championships with Ramat Jimoh leading the way after crossing the line in 23rd in a time of 19:56.1.

🔼 Great Success. Bulldog men’s basketball had a solid start to its 2025 recruiting class with three new signees, including two ranked inside the ESPN Top 100. Cameren Paul, King Grace and Jamarion Davis-Fleming will each head to Starkville next year with Grace ranked in the ESPN Top 75 and Paul in the Top 100.

🔼 Down To The Wire. Bulldog volleyball heads into the weekend with a pair of meaningful matchups against Alabama and Ole Miss as the regular season winds to a close. Today, State will square up against the Crimson Tide where the team currently holds a four-match win streak, sweeping each of the four matches. Then on Sunday, the Bulldogs will battle in-state rival Ole Miss and will look to sweep the season series after winning the first match of the 2024 season 3-1.

🔼 Continuing The Tradition. The Diamond Dawgs are just a couple of months away from returning to The Dude for the 2025 season as the team continues to grow the Bulldog tradition. After solidifying the roster, State baseball came in as the No. 2 team in the Class of 2025 team recruiting ranks per Perfect Game.

🔼 See Ya Next Week. Bulldog football is on its bye this weekend, preparing for their next SEC battle. Next weekend, State will take on Missouri in their final home game of the season at 3:15 p.m. Get tickets now to see Coach Lebby and the MSU football team fight one final time inside Davis Wade Stadium during the 2024 season.
