Dear Ol’ State: Both Sets of Basketball Bulldogs Stay Unbeaten. It was a productive 24 hours at Humphrey Coliseum as the Mississippi State men's basketball team won on Tuesday night ahead of a women's win midday on Wednesday. Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery talk about the victories and bring you interviews with Cameron Matthews, KeShawn Murphy and Debreasha Powe on the latest episode of Dear Ol' State.

🔼 Another Won. State women's basketball ran past Alabama State, 83-29, on Education Day, improving to 3-0 on the season and 20-1 overall in non-conference home games under Sam Purcell. Center Madina Okot recorded her second double-double of her career with 17 points, 12 rebounds and five steals. Debreasha Powe added 14 points on 4-6 shooting from behind the arc and three steals.

Six years ago, Bulldog soccer head coach James Armstrong sat down with associate head coach Nick Zimmerman to lay out the blueprints for the foundation the pair wanted to build. Fast-forward to 2024. Armstrong, Zimmerman and the plethora of talented staff and players in the Maroon and White are making a third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, this time as a No. 1 seed.

🔼 State To Sundays. A trio of former Bulldog football players shined during Week 10 of NFL action. Preston Smith made his Steelers debut, and now has 3.5 sacks on the season and 69.5 during his decade-long career. The New Orleans Saints’ Willie Gay Jr. and Kansas City Chiefs’ Chris Jones earned the highest defensive grades for their respective teams this past week.
