🔼 The Final Horn. An early second-half surge helped Bulldog men’s basketball gain control and ultimately defeat Southeastern Louisiana 80-59 last night at Humphrey Coliseum. Individually for the Dawgs, Josh Hubbard once again shined with 23 points, five assists and a couple of boards. Kanye Clary and KeShawn Murphy also scored in double figures for State, totaling 12 and 10 respectively.

🔼 Twice As Nice. Bulldog women’s golfers Julia Lopez Ramirez and Avery Weed have both been named to the Fall ANNIKA Award Watch List. This is the second time two Bulldogs have been named to the watch list, as the duo is the first since Ally Ewing and Jessica Peng did so in 2015. Weed finished the fall with two individual wins, including one at The Ally where she finished 9-under par while Lopez Ramirez finished under par in each of the three events she appeared in.

🔼 Keep It Rolling. Bulldog women's basketball hosts its second-annual Education Day inside Humphrey Coliseum when it tips off with Alabama State as the team looks to go 3-0 on the season. State leads the all-time series 6-0 with all six games played inside The Hump. Guard Destiney McPhaul has recorded consecutive double-digit scoring performances to open her Bulldog career after finishing with 15 points and going 3-3 from behind the arc her last time out.

🔼 Fall Report. Mississippi State softball is coming off a 34-20 season that included the highest regular-season win total under Samantha Ricketts. After being picked to finish last in the SEC preseason poll last year, the Bulldogs finished tied for 6th (12-12) with their first .500 season in SEC play since 2007. Check out the latest fall report from D1Softball ahead of the 2025 season.
