Dear Ol’ State: A Couple of 2-0 Starts. MSU's men's and women's hoops teams are both off to 2-0 starts following a men's win on Friday and a women's victory on Sunday. On the latest Dear Ol' State, Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery bring you interviews with several of those responsible including men's players RJ Melendez, Kanye Clary and Riley Kugel, as well as women's head coach Sam Purcell.

🔼 Top Dawg. After a historic season that saw the Bulldog soccer team finish with a 17-2 record, Mississippi State heads into the 2024 Women’s College Cup as one of four No. 1 seeds in the tournament for the first time in program history. The Bulldogs’ first-round matchup will take place at the MSU Soccer Field at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 against Southern University who is appearing in the tournament for the first time.

🔼 Looking For A Third. State men’s basketball has posted 95-60 and 101-66 victories over West Georgia and Georgia State, respectively, to start the season, and will look to move to 3-0 today against Southeastern Louisiana. The Bulldogs have begun the season with consecutive 95-plus point efforts for the first time in program history and dialed up at least 95 points in back-to-back games for the first time since the 2004-05 season.
🔼 Echoes of the Hardwood. Bulldog men's basketball team returns to the hardwood to cap off a season-opening three-game homestand against Southeastern Louisiana today at The Hump. Recently, the players were asked about what fan support means to them and how motivating it is to play in front of a full arena on gameday.
