🔼 That’s A Wrap. In the regular season finale for the Soccer Dawgs, the defenses came to play. State put up a fierce fight, but ultimately fell 1-0 to the top-10 ranked Razorbacks. Despite the loss, the Bulldogs claimed the fourth seed for the first time in program history in the upcoming SEC Tournament and will matchup against Alabama on the spookiest night of the year, Tuesday, Oct. 31.

🔼 Diamond Dawgs. The 2024 schedule is set and ready to go for Bulldog baseball as the team enters into the offseason to prepare for the spring. State will open the season with 12 straight games at Dudy Noble Field with Opening Day set for Friday, Feb. 26.

🔼 Southern Hospitality. Hosting the John Cade Invitational this weekend, State women’s tennis will welcome four universities to their home court to compete for singles and doubles titles for the third time this season. Last season at the same tournament, the Bulldogs came away with 21 total wins.

🔼 Fab Forward. Entering the awards’ 10th year, Bulldog men’s hoops star Tolu Smith was recognized as one of the top 20 forwards in the country after being named to the Karl Malone Watch List. Smith joins five other Bulldogs as student-athletes given preseason national recognition. Most recently, Reggie Perry was a top-5 finalist for the Malone Award.

🔼 On Your Mark. Bulldog cross country is headed to Columbia, SC to compete at the SEC Championship in the 6K event for both individual and team titles. The race will mark one of the final events of the season for the Bulldog runners as the team will have a chance to qualify for the NCAA South Regional later next month depending on their results.
