🔼 Living Legend. One of the best tight ends to represent Mississippi State University will be inducted as a member of the class of 2023 SEC Football Legends. Reggie Kelly will be honored at the 2023 SEC Football “Weekend of Champions” at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, GA, from Dec. 1-2.

The four-year letterwinner played for State from 1995-1998, starting in 22 games and playing in 44 total. The biggest year of his career during the Bulldogs’ 1998 run to the SEC Championship Game where he started in all 12 games and recorded 12 catches, 140 yards and a touchdown. He was a three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member and went on to play in the NFL for 13 years.

🔼 Fall Ball. The tradition of the Fall World Series as Nusz Park will conclude the fall practice window for Bulldog softball. Fifth-year Bulldogs Madisyn Kennedy and Paige Cook will draft their teams and compete in one seven inning game next Friday to determine the fall champ.

🔼 Party at The Griss. The Volleydawgs will host the Florida Gators this evening for their second ranked matchup of the season in front of the Maroon and White faithful.

🔼 Be Back Soon. For every setback means a comeback is just around the corner. Hear from Bulldog men’s basketball star Tolu Smith as he shares a message about his recovery and anxiousness to return to the court soon.

🔼 Officially Official. Bulldog men’s basketball’s second regular season tournament of the year, the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic, has announced official tipoff times and TV assignments with just over a month before the team heads up north. State will square up against Washington State on Nov. 18 at 11:00am and will go on to face either Northwestern or Rhode Island the very next day.

🔼 Strong Start. In the first day of ITA Southern Regionals, Bulldog men’s tennis picked up a pair of wins in the qualifying round of play. Marshall Landry came away with a win in his collegiate debut in a three-set win. After earning a first-round bye, Roberto Ferrar Guimaraes locked down his opponent in a convincing first round win to move on.

Later today, the main draw doubles will get underway as Nemanja Malesevic, Dusan Milanovic, Petar Jovanovic and Benito Sanchez Martinez all join the action.

🔼 Dawg Fight. The Diamond Dawgs are hitting the road for a fall ball exhibition to take on Louisiana Tech on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs will compete in their first action against live competition of the fall.

Quite the Career. Bulldog tight end and SEC legend Reggie Kelly not only had a great playing career at MSU, but had arguably an even better career at the professional level with a multitude of teams.

Reggie Kelly was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft and played there for five seasons before playing an additional seven seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. He returned to the Falcons for the final season of his NFL career in 2011.
