🔼 A Night To Remember. Mississippi State soccer etched its name in the history books with a monumental 1-0 victory over No. 1 Arkansas in front of a record-breaking crowd of 2,617 at MSU Soccer Field on Friday night. Ally Perry's first-half goal proved the game-winner, as the Bulldogs extended their winning streak to seven matches, improved to 10-1-0 on the season and remained undefeated in SEC play. State’s defense held Arkansas to just five shots, marking the first time since August 19, 2021, that the Razorbacks were limited to five or fewer attempts.

🔼 Good Things To Come. Bulldog women’s tennis freshman Emma Cohen closed out the weekend with a singles win at the Samford Round Robin #2 on Sunday. Cohen collected her second consecutive singles victory by cruising to a straight-set win. Cohen and partner Athina Pitta posted a 2-1 doubles record together during the tournament, and also went 2-1 individually during singles play to leave the three-day event with six total victories.

🗣️ "It was a good weekend overall for Emma and Athina. There were several positives that we will build on and some negatives that we will be able to keep working through. Emma getting her first-career singles wins were huge and she's starting to come into form every match she plays.” - Noah Tippen, assistant coach

🔼 Echoes of the Hardwood. Bulldog men's basketball opens its season in a month as the team gets set to face West Georgia during their 2024-25 season opener on November 4 at The Hump and officially embark on the program's third season under head coach Chris Jans. Recently, the players were asked about the team's chemistry and mindset going into the season.

🗣️ “Building chemistry, we've come a long way so far. We've really got something special. The potential is out of this world. We've got a lot of good players that can do a lot of great things for this team.” - Josh Hubbard
