Dear Ol’ State: A Chat with James Armstrong on His SEC Champion Bulldogs. Fresh off of clinching the SEC regular season championship on Sunday, Mississippi State head soccer coach James Armstrong joins Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery to talk about winning the title and where the road goes from here.

🔼 About That Time. Five days stand between Bulldog men’s basketball’s return to The Hump for the 2024-25 season. Head coach Chris Jans will begin his third season with State as he hopes to lead his team to yet another 20-win season. Sophomore Josh Hubbard will look to take a leadership role with the Maroon and White after having nine outings of 20-plus points versus SEC opponents, while his 13 total performances of 20-plus led the nation among true freshmen.  

🔼 A Night To Remember. On Sunday night at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Bulldog soccer program's plane landed after defeating Texas A&M, 2-0. Little did they know, the Maroon and White faithful were awaiting the aircraft with cowbells and vuvuzelas as it approached the landing strip. As soon as the plane came to a halt and the stairs dropped down, the crowd of State fans rushed over to the Bulldogs in celebration of the program's first-ever SEC regular season championship.

After the 2024 season saw the Diamond Dawgs return to the postseason, Bulldog baseball looks poised to make a run at it again with a deep roster more than capable of making noise for 2025. Check out D1Baseball’s 2024 Fall Report on Mississippi State. Catch the Diamond Dawgs at Dudy Noble Field this Sunday as they take on Arkansas State at 1 p.m. 

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), celebrating the contributions of workers with disabilities and promoting inclusive workplace policies.
