Dear Ol’ State: Getting Closer To Saturday. Only a couple of days remain before Mississippi State football is back in Davis Wade Stadium for the first time in about a month. 🔼 Magnolia Cup Preview. The No. 3 Mississippi State Bulldogs are set to face in-state rival Ole Miss in the highly anticipated Magnolia Cup tonight in Oxford. Amid a historic season, State has been dominant in SEC play, boasting a perfect 6-0-0 record and extending their winning streak to nine matches. The Bulldogs have scored 28 goals, averaging 2.15 per game, while allowing just 0.23 goals per game—the best in the nation. Ole Miss, in comparison, has scored 18 goals, averaging 1.13 per game, while conceding 1.69 goals per match.
🔼 One Last Race. Bulldog cross country will toe the line with conference foes No. 4 Alabama, No. 15 Tennessee, No. 22 Ole Miss, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri and South Carolina, among 18 other teams today at the Crimson Classic. The Bulldogs will be competing in their first 6k and final regular season race of the year. State will send 13 women to the line in Tuscaloosa, and Ramat Jimoh, Jaelyn Ogle, Hayley Ogle, Hunter Anderson and Madison Jones hold the fastest 6k times for the squad, and all are on MSU's all-time list.
🔼 Mid-South Showdown. Southaven is getting ready for the Bulldog men’s basketball matchup against Utah on Saturday, Nov. 17. Don’t miss out on seeing the Dawgs and the Utes square off at the top of Mississippi; buy tickets today!
🔼 Opportunities Abound. Mississippi State women’s basketball sharpshooter Debreasha Powe has swished 108 3-pointers and made 207 shots total during her first two seasons in Starkville. On Wednesday, however, Powe was doing a much different type of networking. While representing the Bulldogs at SEC Tipoff ‘25, the junior communication/broadcast and digital journalism major took full advantage of the opportunity to learn more about her chosen career path and connect with those currently working in it.
