Dear Ol’ State: The Resilient Stone Simmons. Mississippi State pitcher Stone Simmons has fought his way back to the baseball diamond. After an injury suffered in 2022, Simmons is set to be a big part of the Diamond Dawg staff once again three years later. On the latest edition of Dear Ol' State, Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery visit with Simmons, plus discuss several other familiar faces back with MSU for the upcoming season.

🔼 For The Fans. First pitch at Dudy Noble Field in 2025 is right around the corner and the baseball program will host Fan Day on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Palmeiro Center!

🔼 Pioneer Bulldog. Mississippi State softball legend Mia Davidson has been selected by the Bandits in the inaugural AUSL Draft as the No. 17 overall pick! The latest addition to the Athletes Unlimited portfolio, the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) is a professional women's softball league featuring four teams playing a 24-game season in a traditional format launching in June 2025.

🔼 Coach ‘Em Up. Mississippi State soccer coach Nick Zimmerman has finalized his first staff in Starkville, announcing the hiring of Henry Zapata as an assistant coach. Zapata most-recently served as the associate head coach at Texas State, and will primarily work with MSU's defenders while being heavily involved in recruiting activities, particularly among the junior college ranks.
