🔼 No Rest For The Dawgs. No. 14 Mississippi State men’s basketball plays its fifth ranked opponent in its last six games today, with No. 4 Alabama in town for a 8 p.m. tip on the SEC Network. The Tide is 17-3 overall this season, 6-1 so far in SEC play and are winners of three straight. Here are five things to know about the matchup!

🔼 Two-In-One. Mississippi State track and field’s Abdullahi Hassan and Nicholas Fakorede are the SEC Runner and Freshman of the Week, respectively for their record-breaking times last weekend in South Carolina.

🔼 Softbol Standout. Former Mississippi State softball star Mia Davidson got her Liga Mexicana de Softbol season started strong over the weekend, hitting two home runs and a game-winning three-run double, as well as catching the first perfect game in the league’s history.

🔼 Onto Argentina. Hunter Logan is headed to Argentina! The former Bulldog men’s golfer has qualified for the Korn Ferry Tour’s Argentina Open, which will be played from Feb. 27 — March 2 at the Jockey Club in Buenos Aires. The State golf great shot a bogey-free, 8-under 64 at the Weston Hills Tour Course in Weston, Florida on Monday, birdying a sudden-death playoff hole.
