Dear Ol’ State: Jans And No. 14 Dawgs Set Sights On South Carolina. The SEC grind continues for No. 14 Mississippi State men's hoops. The Bulldogs head to South Carolina for a game on Saturday, looking for a second win this season over the Gamecocks. On the latest edition of Dear Ol' State, head coach Chris Jans discusses his program, the league's strength and much more with Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery.

🔼 All The Offense. Mississippi State women’s basketball scored 33 points in the second quarter against Auburn on Thursday, the most the program had scored in one quarter against an SEC opponent all season. One quarter later, the Bulldogs scored 35 points en route to a 96-56 win over the Tigers.

🔼 Carolina Calling. No. 14 Mississippi State men’s basketball takes its show on the road this weekend, taking on South Carolina in Columbia at noon tomorrow on the SEC Network. After playing four straight games against ranked opponents, the Bulldogs get a Gamecocks squad that its at 0-6 in SEC play.

🔼 Kicking Things Off. No. 9 Mississippi State men’s tennis puts its perfect 5-0 record on the line this weekend, hosting a talented field at the Rula Tennis Pavilion for ITA Kickoff Weekend. The Bulldogs play Pepperdine tomorrow at 10 a.m., with a matchup against either NC State or LSU waiting on Sunday.

🔼 Off And Running. After achieving 14 personal-bests last weekend between a pair of meets, Mississippi State track and field is back in action this weekend at the Orange and Purple Invite in Clemson, S.C.

🔼 Welcome, Coach! Mississippi State soccer head coach Nick Zimmerman continues to build out his staff, announcing the hiring of reigning Conference USA Coach of the Year Jonathan Garbar as an assistant on staff for the Bulldogs.
