🔼 Winning Ways. Bulldog men’s basketball closed out 2024 with a decisive 87-73 win over Bethune Cookman on Dec. 30. State proved to have the most firepower as Riley Kugel's 22 points led the team with four different Bulldogs scored 12 or more and six had at least eight points.

🔼 It Just Means More. After closing out 2024 with a 13-1 record, the best start since the 2018-19 season, Bulldog women’s basketball will open SEC play against No. 16 Kentucky today at 6 p.m. State won its fifth straight last Sunday against South Carolina State where six Bulldogs finished the game in double figures.

🔼 Making Moves. Bulldog football head coach Jeff Lebby announced that he is adding Phil Loadholt (Assistant Coach/Offensive Line), Vincent Dancy (Assistant Coach/Defensive Ends & Outside Linebackers) and Paul Rhoads (Senior Defensive Analyst) to his staff. Loadholt and Dancy will come to Starkville after spending the 2024 season as assistant coaches at Colorado while Rhoads comes in as a well-respected veteran defensive coach with over 30 years of experience.
