🔼 Game, Set, Match. No. 11 Mississippi State men’s tennis got its spring season off to a hot start on Sunday, winning 7-0 over Samford in Starkville. After winning the doubles point, each of the six Bulldogs won their singles matches in straight sets — Petar Jovanovic, Benito Sanchez Martinez, Niccolo Baroni, Mario Martinez Serrano, Michal Novansky and Roberto Ferrer Guimaraes.
🔼 From Long Distance. Mississippi State women’s hoops earned its second consecutive SEC win on Sunday, knocking down a season-best 14 threes in a 79-68 win over Georgia in Athens. Eniya Russell starred for the Bulldogs with 21 points, nine assists and six rebounds and Madina Okot collected her sixth double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds.
